Gamsu & Gaffoor Optometrists is owned and managed by Dr Shoket Gaffoor, a highly trained Optometrist with a long list of accolades.

Dr. Gaffoor studied at the prestigious University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, before completing his Certified Advanced Studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, USA. He holds professional memberships with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa, as well as the Optometric Association of South Africa.

Having been around for over 60 years, this practice is deeply ingrained in the community and aims to take care of it’s patients - many of whom have been visiting the practice since childhood. To this end, it offers special rates for pensioners and accepts all medical aid schemes.
